Jake is a 16-year-old girl whose mother left her. She finds her older sister Darlene in L.A., but Darlene turns her away. Darlenes neighbor Marci takes pity on Jake, allowing her to stay over. When Jake discovers that Marci is a manager in a massage parlor, she convinces Marci to hire her.
