This film was based on some real crimes. I did a deep dive at the time of watching, can't remember details now. I enjoyed the film, but it won't be for everyone. It's very slow, all the way through. The scares are few and far between. But you really feel how desperate the characters feel, and there is a sense of sadness and dread throughout. I really enjoyed it. If you enjoyed Enys Men, this is more fast paced in comparison, you will enjoy it
