Yea ngl its kinda slow build up like 60-70% was foreshadowing and then when stuff does start happening nothing really happens its a good story tho good atmosphere and good acting so not too bad

What a masterpiece. Rich symbolic storytelling of cultural exploitation through music with the use of vampire lore in an original southern gothic horror is brilliant!rnAesthetically pleasing, full of style and cinematic pop; from the use of camera film ratios, colors, lighting and visual storytelling. The cast was phenomenal and the music was enchanting!rnWould I watch this again? Hell yeah I would. Perfect popcorn movie night. 7.9/10

@lucyrose. Get real, this is probably the best ORIGINAL film of 2025 so far. It\'s not a cheap remake, a sequel or some random biopic. This is the kind of ORIGINAL film that has been missing from cinema.

What a movie, great screenplay

never seen a "vampire" movie that was good. other movies the vampire aspect is heavily forced into the plot, this one is just good as it without it. kinda adds flair? anyways, definitely worth the watch

Ima need Ryan Coogler's creole vampires to have a sitdown with AMC's Louis du Pointe de Lac because this was amazing

It would be nice if it stayed still instead of going back and forth through the actor\'s faces. That\'s my opinion and you have yours. Did it make you feel better to insult someone, Jubilee? boring as hell first, but when they are all stuck in that cabin it becomes engaging to watch

decent and givin a choice of watching again after just watching it i would not have watched it in the first place

slow burn, first hour is pretty boring, 2nd hour is kind of meh with ridiculous fountain blood. There's lots of music almost making it a down right musical. 5/10
