Frank Sully

Francis Thomas Sullivan aka Frank Sully was an American character actor Beefy and squarejawed he was usually cast as rustic types or dumb heavies He was a regular feature in Three Stooges shorts Sully started his career as a comedian in vaudeville and appeared on Broadway from the late 1920s He is known for the films The Grapes of Wrath 1940 The More the Merrier 1943 and Bye Bye Birdie 1963
