Brian Reece

Brian Reece was an English film and radio actor To BBC radio audiences he was widely known for playing Police Constable Archibald BerkeleyWilloughby in over 100 episodes of PC 49 between 194753 He transferred the role to the feature film A Case for PC 49 in 1951 The Stage recorded the cause of his death at the age of 48 in 1962 as being the result of a bone infection which had been ongoing for over 2 years He died in hospital in Westminster London
