Christine LHeureux is a publisher and author of childrens books She is at the origin of the Caillou project created in 1989 with the illustrator Hélène Desputeaux 1959 She is the author and creator of the characters name and psychological universe Her books were adapted into a Canadian animated television series in 196 5minute episodes broadcast from September 15 1997 to October 3 2010 on Télétoon She is the founder of the Chouette editions which mainly offer Caillou books distributed in collections adapted to each age group
