Leni Parker

Leni Parker is a Canadian television and film actress She is best known for her portrayal of the androgynous alien Daan in Gene Roddenberrys Earth Final Conflict Parker was born in New Brunswick Canada in 1966 She attended Concordia University in Montreal where she graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance After graduating she began working with Pigeons International Theatre for the next 10 years She was awarded Best Supporting Actress at the Theatre Critics of Quebec Awards in 1992 for her role as la Bonne in Coquelicots Parkers television debut came in 1994 when she appeared in an episode of the series Due South She went on to have recurring roles in the series Earth Final Conflict 19942002 Street Legal 20002001 and 192 2014 She has also appeared in a number of films including Mommys Prison Secret 2017 and The Perfect Husband 2018 In addition to her acting career Parker is also a passionate advocate for social justice She is a founding member of the Canadian Actors Equity Associations Diversity Committee and has spoken out on a number of issues including gender equality and LGBTQ rights
