Conner Marx is an actor writer and producer who has worked on hit TV shows including Z Nation Criminal Minds Shameless NCIS Blackish The Young and the Restless and Leverage His latest leading role is in the Lifetime movie Ill Be Watching opposite Janel Parrish Conners onscreen debut Lucky Them starring Toni Collette opened at the Toronto International Film Festival before seeing a nationwide release with IFC Films He also produced and starred in the awardwinning feature If Theres a Hell Below which premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival and was acquired by Dark Sky Films On stage he recently portrayed Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Shakespeares Twelfth Night with SLCs esteemed Pioneer Theatre Company He was also seen as the titular role in Stravinskys Firebird at the Walt Disney Concert Hall In addition to his degree from Vassar College in New York Conner trained at the Darpana Academy of Performing Arts in India and the National Academy of Arts Culture and Heritage in Malaysia His studies around the world have played a substantial role in shaping who he is and the stories hes passionate about telling He aims to be among the growing generation of filmmakers dedicated to advocating for an inclusive diversity of voices and experiences on screen and stage
