Derrick OConnor was born in Dublin Ireland and raised in London UK He performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Scottish National Theatre with many leading stage performances in Edinburgh StratfordonAvon and Londons West End His long and successful career included numerous starring roles in US British and Australian film and television He spent much of the latter half of his life living with his family in Santa Barbara where he died on 29th June 2018 at the age of 77
