Tony Lawrence

Tony Lawrence is an American singer originally from St Kitts As a child he moved with his family to Virginia and later New York City He became known as The Continental Dreamboat Lawrence appeared in Paris in 1964 In 1965 he had a successful nationwide tour on behalf of the Teen N Tea Caravan sponsored by the Tea Council of the USA In 1968 Lawrence was director of the Harlem Cultural Festival
