Jill Gascoine 11 April 1937 28 April 2020 was an English actress best known for her role as Maggie Forbes in the ITV television series The Gentle Touch 19801984 and its spinoff CATS Eyes 19851987 She was also an author of three novels Addicted 1994 Lilian 1995 and Just Like A Woman 1997
