Born Yeonok Kang in Busan Korea in 1936 and graduated from Dongnae High School Went to Hawaii in 1956 to study Political Science but won a beauty contest there and was signed by 20th CenturyFox As of 1963 she was planning to sign with United Artists and establish a drama school in her native Korea
