Jun Gallardo also known by the nickname Jim Goldman or John Gale was a Filipino Bmovie director He was the son of director Cesar Gallardo His career started with martial arts films in the 70s before he moved to Zactioners in the 80s His films were often produced by Silver Star Film Company a prolific producer known for making extremely lowbudget action films characterized by very low production values Throughout his career Gallardo worked with numerous Zgrade stars such as Richard Harrison Reb Brown Gordon Mitchell Christopher Mitchum Jim Gaines Mike Monty Mike Cohen or Ronnie Patterson He also worked once with Linda Blair on the movie SFX Retaliator 1987
