Thomas Daniel Hicks Tommy Eytle was a Guyanese calypso musician and actor Although born in Guyana Eytles career was based in the United Kingdom where he lived after emigrating in 1951 Eytles career began in the 1950s and culminated in him becoming a household name with his role as Jules Tavernier in EastEnders from 1990 to 1997 He died in Reading in 2007
