Monja Art was born on January 8 1984 in Wiener Neustadt Austria She is a writer and director known for Siebzehn 2017 Forever Not Alone 2013 Juli 2012 and Rot 2009 She studied German literature and philosophy at the University of Vienna and wrote her dissertation on the Austrian writer Meta Merz She graduated from the Vienna Film Academy with a degree in Screenwriting and Dramaturgy
