Stelios Mainas is a Greek actor He was born in Ermoupoli Syros on October 1 1957 and grew up in Athens He studied Business Administration hotel studies and later graduated from the Veaki Drama School in 1984 In later years he worked as an actor in many of the central and regional Theaters of Athens and the province He became more widely known with his participation in the television series Oi men and the ones who dont and the movie Balkanizer In 2015 he won the best actor award at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards for his role in the film Wednesday 0445
