Damon Laurence Lindelof born April 24 1973 is an American screenwriter and producer He was the cocreator and showrunner of the television series Lost 200410 He has written for and produced Crossing Jordan 200104 and wrote for Nash Bridges 200001 Lindelof also cowrote the science fiction films Cowboys Aliens 2011 Prometheus 2012 Star Trek Into Darkness 2013 and Tomorrowland 2015 He cocreated the TV series The Leftovers for HBO adapted from the novel by Tom Perrotta
