Marek Beneš 1960 Czech screenwriter and director graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague As a filmmaker he introduced himself to the realization of educational programs later he began to deal with the animation of serial films with the stories of Pat and Mata for Krátký film Praha and subsequently for a private studio He worked briefly in cable TV He returned to animated work within his own studio Patmat sro where he realizes new episodes of the series with the characters Pat and Mat which he also presented in the feature film Pat and Mat in the film 2016
