Randall Park born March 23 1974 is an American film and television actor comedian writer and director of South Korean descent He attended UCLA and finished with an undergraduate degree in English and creative writing and a Master in AsianAmerican Studies While attending UCLA Park cofounded the LCC Asian American Theater Group He is best known for his role as Louis Huang in the ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat 20152020 for which he was nominated for the Critics Choice Television Award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series in 2016
