British director Andrew Douglas began his career in Lord Snowdons photographic studio He was a magazine photographer for Esquire and The Face and then a director of music videos and commercials His 2003 documentary Searching for the WrongEyed Jesus won a Royal Television Society award He made his movie debut with The Amityville Horror 2005 the terrifying remake of the 1970s horror classic
