Kanu Behl born in 1980 is an Indian film director and screenwriter renowned for his contributions to Hindi cinema Behl began his career by assisting director Dibakar Banerjee on the cult hit Oye Lucky Lucky Oye and cowriting LSD Love Sex aur Dhokha In his directorial debut Titli Behl showcased his talent at various international film festivals including Melbourne Rio de Janeiro Zurich Filmfest Hamburg and BFI London The script of Titli was chosen by NFDC for the Screenwriters Lab 2012 ultimately securing the Post Production Award at Film Bazaars WorkInProgress Lab The film Titli received a nomination for the Caméra dOr at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival
