Ingrid Luterkort born Carola Ingrid Margareta Eklundh was a Swedish stage and screen actress director and drama pedagogue She graduated from the Royal Dramatic Theatres acting school in 1934 with her fellow classmates Ingrid Bergman Gunnar Björnstrand and Signe Hasso Her film debut was in Anders Henriksons Annonsera1936 She became the first Swedish female theater director when she stage a production at Dramatikerstudion 1940 Ingrid Luterkort published her experiences of acting and teaching in the book Skådespelarens utbildningThe Education of the Actor1976 In her second publication Om age Herr Molander Again Mr Molander1998 deals with the Royal Dramatic Theatres acting school and its development from 1784 to 1964
