Johannes Christiaan Baay 1904 1991 was a Dutch actor Starting out as a civil servant he made his stage debut at the age of 26 at the Amsterdamsch Tooneel company under Albert van Dalsum and Eduard Verkade He has subsequently been associated with a great many Dutch theater companies With the exception of the war years he was active on stage as well as film and television until he was in his late seventies Because he remained active into old age the number of productions in which he participated is extremely extensive
