Meg Barrick grew up in Wheeling WV and graduated from Wheeling Park High School in 2008 The only child to Larry Barrick a Computer Systems Analyst and Judy Barrick an Occupational Therapist Meg decided to move to New York out of high school and pursue her modeling career After being sent on a few acting auditions she found acting was her true passion and started studying at The Alan Gordon Studio in the West Village Winter of 2009 to fall of 2011 she studied The Meisner Technique scene study and audition technique with Alan Gordon Getting an itch for warm weather and to see what all the fuss was about on the West Coast Meg moved to Los Angeles CA in fall of 2011 Studying Scene Study and Audition Technique with Lisa Millilo at the Joanne BarronDW Brown Studios and auditioning every chance she gets
