Jai Stephen Courtney born March 15 1986 is an Australian actor He started his career with small roles in films and television series before being cast as Charlie in the action film Jack Reacher 2012 He has gone on to star in A Good Day to Die Hard 2013 I Frankenstein 2014 and The Exception 2016 He has also played Kyle Reese in Terminator Genisys 2015 and supervillain Captain Boomerang in the DC Extended Universe DCEU films Suicide Squad 2016 The Suicide Squad 2021 and The Flash 2023
