Nick Nicholson was one of many Americans to expatriate to the Philippines after the Vietnam War Starting in the mid 1970s he became involved in the local film industry there as an actor and casting director often responsible for finding as many Anglolooking locals to play nonFilipino roles in local productions He can also be seen in numerous biggerbudget American Vietnam War films made including APOCALYPSE NOW and PLATOON often playing American soldiers
