Alex Ateah

Alex Ateah is a comedian artist and performer from Winnipeg currently living in Toronto Alex received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours from The University of Manitoba in 2015 then went to study improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles California Within her practice the artist has been exploring the desire to connect with others particularly in the digital age Through this exploration she investigates her inner psyche questioning the motives and complexity of her intentions to create meaningful bonds In addition to appearing in Tapeworm 2019 and I Like Movies 2022 she has been writing producing and starring in the comedy web series Yolo Fashion Divas alongside Kylie Friesen
