Jose Alejandro Gomez Monteverde born July 13 1977 is a Mexican film director He is best known for Bella 2006 Little Boy 2015 and Sound of Freedom 2023 His first film Bella took top prize at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival by winning the Peoples Choice Award He has been married to Ali Landry since April 8 2006 They have three children
