Mikel Gurrea is a writerdirector born in San Sebastián in 1985 He graduated from Barcelonas Pompeu Fabra University and won the prestigious Obra Social la Caixa scholarship to study a Master of Arts at the London Film School His short films have been selected in festivals such as Venice San Sebastián and Montreal and his dramatic work for the stage as a playwright has opened in theatres such as Londons Queen Elizabeth Hall and Madrids FernanGomez Suro is his feature film debut
