Tina Gordon Chism is an American screenwriter producer and director She studied drama at Duke Ellington School for Performing Arts Chism began her career as an intern in the writing department of The Cosby Show before going on to write the films ATL and Drumline Her directorial debut was the 2013 film Peeples which she also cowrote In 2013 a new series she created Crushed was greenlit by HBO Its pilot was picked up in 2016 by Hulu In 2019 Chism cowrote the scripts to the comedies What Men Want and Little also directing the latter
