Éric Gravel is a screenwriter and director of Quebec origin born in Verdun in Canada and residing in France He graduated from the MelHoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University in Montreal in 1994 He is the director of short films and above all of two feature films Crash Test Aglaé released in 2017 and Full Time about the life of a woman told with the rhythm of a thriller The latter premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2021 and took home two Horizons Best Director for Eric Gravel and Best Actress for Laure Calamy
