Dan Chisu is the organizer of DaKINO International Film Festival The oldest film festival in Romania held every year in Bucharest since 1991 He made a series of documentaries for television Around the World in 80 Days 2004 Reality of a Myth Peruvian Shamans 2007 The Earths Taste in 80 Spices 2008 He produced and starred in a TV Show called I Eat Therefore I Am which was broadcast four years on a national television He also published books Alone Under the Shower 2004 and The Studio in the Forest of Cranes 100 Times About Stories About Recipes 2 volumes In 2008 directed his first feature film WebSiteStory An independent production released in 2010 His second film Ursul The Bear released in the spring of 2011 Si Caii Sunt Verzi pe Pereti Chasing Rainbows his third film released in November 2012 Currently he is in postproduction with 2 feature projects Deja Vu dir Dan Chisu feature film and Youtube Bazaar dir Dan Chisu feature documentary
