Fenar Ahmad

Fenar Ahmad came to Denmark in 1986 as an Iraqi refugee At the alternative Danish film school Super16 he directed the short film Megaheavy which was selected for the Berlinale and screened at a large number of festivals The film was honoured with a Danish Robert award for best short fiction He graduated from Super16 in 2010 In 2014 Ahmads debut feature film Flow premiered at CPH PIX and screened at London Film Festival The revenge drama Darkland marked his second feature Since then he has directed the live action adaptation of the Danish comic series Valhalla and a sequel to Darkland Ahmad has also directed a few documentary films and music videos
